This is one of the books I pulled from the Book Fair to read. It was recommended by a friend as one of the best books she has ever read. I am about half way through this book, and I have to concur with my friend. It truly one of the best books I have ever read. The main characters are Ty and Gemma. Set in the future, the world has been devastated by an earthquake that has caused the continents to break apart and fall deep into the sea. Only a small portion of the land is inhabitable. As a result, people have been forced to move into crowded, tall towers. Some people have even moved to the sea where they live on the ocean floor. Ty lives in the deep undersea and Gemma lives in a tower. Ty and Gemma team up to find her brother while a villanious group called the Seablite Gang have begun to terrorize the sea dwellers threatening their way of life.
