Science Stations in the Library

I love collaborating with the tech facilitator here at Robertson Elementary. Below is an explanation of the collaborative lesson we created for our 5th grade students.  

Station 1: Changes in the Ecosystem

Students wrote about the the causes and effects of changes in the ecosystem.

Station 2: Food Chain

Students reviewed the concept of a food chain by playing The Food Chain game, an interactive Web based game. Then they selected a set of pictures and created their own food chain.

Station 3: Science Terms

Teams reviewed their science vocabulary by competing with other teams in Jeopardy.

Each student was given an Organisms and Ecosystems booklet to fill out as they progressed through the WebQuest/stations.
