National Cookie Day

December 4th is National Cookie Day

Here in the library, we are celebrating this yummy day by learning facts about cookies and how Ruth Wakefield invented the chocolate chip cookie, playing cookie games, and reading great cookie books. 

Cookie Trivia: 
Did you know that more cookies are consumed in December than any other month? According to the Cookie Elf, half of the cookies baked in American homes each year are chocolate chip.  However, Oreo Cookies are the best selling cookies in the United States.
