The Clockwork Three by Matthew J. Kirby
This book is the first novel by Matthew J. Kirby. And I have to say that I am impressed not only with his imaginative story line, but how beautifully it is written. The main characters are Giuseppe, an orphaned street musician, Frederick, an apprentice clockmaker, and Hannah, a maid in a grand hotel. This historical fantasy provides a rollicking ride as these three characters lives become intertwined and as a result they band together to help each other face the difficulties and tragedies life has dealt them.
