Each page in this wonderful rhyming story contains pairs of things that go well together, like ice cream and cone, and dog and bone. The last line of the book is "We go together; that's what we do. We go togheter because you love me and I love you!" This book reminds me of what friendship/love should be like.
We read the story aloud. Then, students brainstormed other pairs of words that go together. Students wrote and illustrated their own ideas, and then I compliled them into class books.
