Mr. Wiggle's Book

Our precious kindergarten students have been learning the importance of taking care of books. Mr. Wiggle's tale made us sad as we learned how some people mistreat books. We even came up with a few book care ideas of our own. My favorites include, don't put a book in the fire and don't take your books in the woods because a fox might eat them.

Students made their own books with pages that make us sad. We stepped on pages, crumpled pages, tore pages, and scribbled on pages. At the end we illustrated ourselves taking good care of books. I know all of our wonderful kindergarten students will tenderly care for our books.
