BOOK OF THE WEEK
The Rubber-Legged Ducky by John G. Keller is one of my favorite picture books. In this amazing story about a duck named Five. Before five was born, his mama accedentally swallowed a rubber band. As a result Five has a rubber like leg. Even though Five is different than the other ducklings, his mama assures him that he can still do "special, wonderful things." Read this book to see how Five uses his special gifts to save the day.
